Job Description: 

Do you have a passion for HR and enjoy taking on new challenges? We are currently seeking a Human Resources Intern for our Dynamic Fluid Solutions manufacturing site, located in Whitsett, North Carolina. You will report to our Human Resources Manager and will be an integral part of the team.


You will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects to drive HR to the next level!


Projects may include involvement with the following initiatives:

  • Updating training records in MQ1
  • ADP HRIS/SuccessFactors utilization for data entry and reporting
  • Tracking HR metrics, targets, and goals
  • Employee and Community Relations
  • Succession Planning and creating development plans
  • Updating and revising job descriptions
  • Attracting and hiring top talent to DFS: Direct labor recruiting and onboarding
  • Writing organizational announcements for new hires


Other tasks may include:

  • Handling unemployment claims
  • Performing HR audit reports; Employee file audits
  • Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures


What we are looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related field; Sophomore or Junior preferred
  • Able to work part-time during school sessions and full-time during breaks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; strong analytical abilities preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal) required
  • Demonstrated track record of organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Discretion in handling confidential information, materials, and employee records and the ability to prepare confidential information related to employer-employee relations
  • Ability to perform a variety of professional, technical, and analytical human resources functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing, and team-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to proactively find new ways to solve problems and identify resources.
  • Passionate about taking on new challenges and opportunities with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Not afraid to ask questions and recommend solutions.
