Currently Taylor Hobson is looking for a person to take over the role of the


Area Sales Manager (m/f/d)


Based in our Headquarters in Weiterstadt close to Frankfurt/Main (GER).


Your duties:

  • After intensive training with a mentor, you will take over the support of our customers in South Germany, Austria and Switzerland and actively contribute to their development and sales increase.
  • You actively promote our products in existing and new markets and recognize new potentials in the process
  • You will identify and gain new customers and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • You advise the customer in all technical matters and develop solutions for the measurement problems.
  • Presentation and demonstration of our measurement solutions at the customer or in our office
  • Davelop into Swiss market and market expansion of Taylor Hobson products
  • Responsibility for quotations, sales negotiations and orders.
  • You carry out market analyses, competition analyses and potential analyses for the sales area
  • Regular participation in trade fairs and other marketing activities.

Your profile:

  • Relevant experience in technical sales or another sales-related position
  • Ideally, you have experience in (surface) metrology and Sales management
  • You are a strong communicator and assertive personality with a convincing appearance
  • You have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and negotiation skills as well as analytical and conceptual skills
  • Technical studies in physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable education/training or commercial background
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Customer-oriented thinking and acting
  • Solution-oriented thinking, strong communication skills and the willingness to travel
