Job Title:  Senior Staff Accountant

What you will do:

Work with the team to complete monthly/quarterly closing activities including:

• Journal entry preparation and posting

• Account reconciliations and timely investigation/resolution of discrepancies

• SOX testing and documentation

• Capital requisitions and Fixed Assets

• Physical inventory & cycle count lead

• Expense analysis (budget & forecast)

Leases:

• Maintain leases in KLT lease accounting software

• Run month end reports & post appropriate journal entries

• Assist Controller in annual review of new & existing vendor contracts

Payroll:

• Act as backup for primary contact

• Prepare, submit, and reconcile local payroll files to Corporate Office

• Support inquiries related to pay variances, vacation time balances, and general payroll questions

Cross train with Senior Financial Analyst to become backup in inventory, costing analysis and reporting including yearly standard cost roll

Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred) or applicable financial focus

• 5+ years experience in the Accounting field; experience within a manufacturing environment highly preferred

• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables & V-Lookups

• Manufacturing ERP experience (Navision helpful)

• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work as an individual and within a team

• Exhibits competencies of being detail-oriented, ability to multitask, maintaining professional integrity and a high degree of confidentiality (payroll)

• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independantly, with minimal direction and solid follow-through
