Job Description: 

Responsible for the equipment, system, and methods used in a manufacturing facility.  Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production.

 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with other leaders to assess and improve processes
  • Develop routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
  • Develop standard operating instructions.
  • Test, monitor, and maintain equipment, including conducting regular testing to ensure equipment complies with standards.
  • Assist with the purchase of new equipment; research, price, and analyze options to provide recommendations.
  • Design new equipment and/or redesign process flow.
  • Analyze, modify, and design processes to guarantee maximum output with minimum defects in production.
  • Ensure operations comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage all paperwork to show compliance and safety protocols.
  • Collect and interpret data on efficiency and budgets.
  • Analyze production processes to cut costs, increase productivity, and optimize productivity.
  • Perform routine audits.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical,or Industrial.
  • Machining experience mills, lathes, and CNC 
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong ability to organize, retain, and manage multiple tasks on a regular basis.
  • Strong problem solving/analysis skills required
  • Working knowledge of Lean Methodology and a commitment to Continuous Improvement a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills required
  • Drive for results
  • Demonstrated experience with Six Sigma and Lean processes
