Position Summary

Due to continued growth within the USA service team, we have a vacancy for an Applications/Support engineer to support our growing component measurement tool customer base. After completing a Training Program, you will be involved & responsible for the following

activities with regards to our equipment at Customers premises:

• High End Metrology Installation in various industries, including Aerospace.
• User and applications training on the tool with the customers components.
• Calibration / maintenance of the customers measurement equipment
• Customer consultation, user support.
• Aftersales service support / Remote support /Office activity

Key Responsibilities

• Have a good grounding in mechanical/ electronic or Multi-Disciplined Engineering
• Have good computer skills including Microsoft Office, various PC based program language
• Have the desire to learn the equipment to become an expert in his field.
• Must have the ability to sort through challenging mechanical/electrical/programming issues to systematically find the solution.
• Can work alone independently, with the ability to multi-task
• Be prepared to work flexible hours when required
• Be prepared to assist colleagues in other regions of the world when required
• Have the will to travel within North America (internationally as needed for training, etc.

Requirements for Consideration

• High energy level with ability to take initiative.
• Teamwork oriented with collaborative style, pragmatic, multitasking, flexible.
• Ability to technically and articulately communicate with customers and the factory
• Computer fluent, with specific attention to e-mail and Microsoft Office product skills; CRM and Service tools.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively in English. (Spanish is a Plus)
• Follow set procedures but can identify when change is required

Experience/Degree/Certification

• Mechanical/ electrical or electronic Service expert
• Proven experience in high demand B2B customer service.
• Based out of Warrenville, IL (Home office ideally to be located near (Southeast, Northeast or Upper Ohio Valley area)
• English: good communication skills, Written and spoken.
