We are currently seeking a talented Production Technician who will be responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting associated with electronic and mechanical systems and components for our EDAX product line. This leadership position is based in the Warrendale, PA manufacturing facility.
General responsibilities include the assembly and validation of small, precision mechanical assemblies in a low volume production environment. Troubleshooting and product testing is required as well.

Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as refined analytical and problem solving abilities.
Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
Solder and do rework on assemblies.
Communicate clearly with various department regarding pertinent issues.
Exhibit vigilance towards eliminating/avoiding inventory discrepancies.
Strong focus on safety compliance.
Maintain an exceptionally organized and clean production environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree or higher in an Engineering discipline required
A combination of formal training and additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a formal Engineering-related degree
At least 5-7 years related technical and/or industry experience with a strong mechanical aptitude required
May lead and/or participate in functional training and/or mentoring of others
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and Lean manufacturing a plus
