Job Description: 


  • Develop Key Accounts to gain market share and grow the Zygo product business ahead of the semiconductor industry’s CAGR growth.
  • Develop deep relationships with C-Level contacts downward and map our customers’ organization.
  • Present technical proposals, negotiate orders, and coordinate meetings with the customer.
  • Define and internally communicate a full understanding of the customer’s needs and technical requirements
  • Work closely with the Metrology, PPS and Optical Systems Product/ Marketing leaders to develop account growth strategies that deliver growth for all product lines
  • Support the transition of new projects from Sales to Program Management to Operations.
  • Develop an understanding of market segmentation, application and customer needs, competition, market trends and dynamics to support strategies to target new opportunities and threats
  • Develop the requirements and business cases for new products
  • Facilitate business development through customer visits and demos, building relationships with customers and key influencers
  • Regularly reporting, weekly sales report, customer meeting and conference reports, monthly forecasts for orders and revenues, quarterly market reports
  • Help create messaging and content for marketing materials specific to this market and this product line, including white papers, data sheets, tradeshows, conference sponsorships, web site, PR, product memos, and newsletters
  • Assist Japan sales and service with technical support
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts



Sales and Marketing Experience

Experience (10 yrs) in sales/marketing key account role

International Sales Experience with large accounts

Experience in working with/ leading cross functional teams

Knowledge and experience of selling complex solutions into semiconductor capital equipment OEMs

Technical Experience

Background within a technical specialty preferred Engineering Qualification (bachelor’s degree)

Metrology experience within Semicon an advantage

Communication Skills

Strong ability to communicate to sales, engineering, operations and management teams on all levels (internal and external)

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Self-Motivated & Confident

Lead by example by demonstrating flexibility, tenacity and drive in delivering objectives and ability to motivate others to do the same

Knowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools


Be comfortable with travelling - up to 30%

Team Player

Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to direct team to ensure they and the company succeed

Be able to recognize talent and develop individuals to achieve stretch goals
