Job Description: 

The job holder will support the Senior Manager HR, S.E.Asia on all HR functions in the region.  This include Staffing & Recruiting, Payroll & HRIS Administration, Employee Welfare Management, Training & Development administration in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, and other countries in the Asia region.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Recruiting

  • Support recruitment and selection process, includes coordinating job briefs, job posting, interviews and assessment arrangements

Payroll Administration & HRIS

  • Manage monthly payroll administration with internal parties and outsourced vendors
  • Prepare payroll related reports to government agencies such as social insurance, worker’s compensation etc.
  • Maintain & update data accurately in HRIS, incl. new hire, termination, staff movement, etc

Training and Development

  • Coordinate employee onboarding, training & development activities as well as evaluation of training effectiveness
  • Manage training vendors and registration if neccessary

HR Operations

  • Coordinate onboarding / offboarding process
  • Maintain personnel records and P-files
  • Manage employee benefits and welfare and expats administration
  • Handle employee enquiries relating to HR matters
  • Play active role in employee engagement related activities

Support projects and initiative deployment as required

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor degree, Diploma with good experience welcome
  • At least 3 years of experience in operational or generalist HR, payroll knowledge an advantage
  • High degree of integrity coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work on his/her own initiative
  • The ability to work with personnel from all levels and under pressure
  • Detail orientated, and willingness in taking challenges
  • Good English skill in both written and verbal, Chinese an advantage
  • Can work independently but is a good team player
