SCOPE:

The main scope of this position is to develop and deploy a growth plan for the China territory, to achieve sales objectives in collaboration with Creaform’ s head office, Ametek ACES and according to the company's strategic orientations. Managing and leverage the sales team and activities through direct and indirect sales channels.

This person will also act as the main point of contact between Creaform local office and Creaform headquarter located in Quebec, Canada.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and manage the sales strategy and action plan based on corporate strategic orientations to achieve the yearly sales target on the assigned territory;
  • Supervise and coach a team of about 15 resources through standard sales management activities such as business (lead/opportunity) reviews, forecasts, customer visits, demos, training, etc.;
  • Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of the territory, identifying with the team growth opportunities by territory and by vertical.
  • Identify new channels (direct sales or distributors) participate in the recruitment of key resources for the team as well as new distributors
  • Ensure the management of some twenty distributors, including strategic planning and deployment of growth plans
  • In collaboration with the global director of business development, develop a strategy dedicated to the territory to grow key accounts and strategic accounts.
  • Implement global actions to develop new business opportunities, including developing relationships with key players in the metrology industry (3rd party software, robot manufacturers or integrators, 3D printing companies);
  • Establish effective communication channels with Creaform Headquarter to maintain synergies between all services and departments;
  • Hire new employees and realize performance/salary reviews;
  • Support Creaform worldwide sales model and propose improvements.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration;
  • Be fluent in English
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in technology sales and team management;
  • Knowledge of Metrology market is a strong asset;
  • Working knowledge of a CRM system;
  • Traveling is mandatory. Expected level should be around 30-40%;
