Job Description: 

Position Summary:

The HR Supervisor will work as part of a team to deliver exceptional human resources to our customers.  This position will report to the Director of Human Resources, SCI and will have exposure to the senior management team of AMETEK SCI, PI and Power Quality Solutions. 


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:


  • Create and implement execution of HR standard operating procedures
  • Assist all employees with benefits and HR related issues
  • Handle full cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt level positions
  • Performance Management
  • Work with Director, HR in creating succession planning for the organization and developing identified employees through LDR process
  • Assist with market surveys and generate compensation analysis for all positions
  • Assist in creating HR initiatives for the BU
  • Partner with the HR Director to develop, maintain and communicate to employees various HR policies and procedures (including annual review and update of Employee Handbook)
  • Handle employee relations and coaching initiatives as needed
  • Create and deliver training programs
  • Ensure compliance and ability to participate in audit of AAP programs, EEOC and OFFCP
  • Support on-boarding programs
  • Research and implement plans for retention
  • Create, administer, and analyze surveys (exit, etc.)
  • Accurately performs Monthly Headcount Reporting and metrics
  • Maintain and improve employee satisfaction rate through annual survey and employee morale activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State laws for entire organization
  • All duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:


  • Expertise in HR Law (Federal & State), including the ability to create and write policies
  • Strong understanding of AAP, EEOC and OFFCP practices, requirements and audit management
  • Experience in difficult employee relations issues including running investigations
  • Background in full cycle recruiting – hiring for all levels of the organization
  • Appreciation for exceptional on-boarding programs and creative plans for retention
  • Experience creating training programs and maintaining their delivery


Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years at a generalist level and the interest in becoming an HR Manager in the future
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent
  • PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (extensive spreadsheet work is done in our HR department)
  • Professional demeanor
