Job Description: 

AMETEK Zygo is looking for a strong, results-oriented Senior Human Resource Business Partner who embraces culture and continuous improvement activities to join the Ultra Precision Technologies HR Team to support the Zygo West Coast sites in Irvine and Richmond, CA.  This position will be responsible for talent acquisition/recruitment, employee engagement and development, and partnering with the site leadership team members in support of people strategies that drive successful business outcomes.The ideal candidate for this position will be a driven HR professional with a collaborative spirit and a desire to grow professionally within the organization.
 

Responsibilities include:
• Partner with the Division Vice President of Human Resources and the Zygo HR leader to drive the talent acquisition, diversity, talent management and development strategies, attracting and retaining high potential salaried and direct labor candidates.
• Collaborate with management team to drive improvement, implement cultural change and improve employee experience.
• Utiliz
e AMETEK standard processes and tools, including recruitment tools and software as well as developing innovative and modern sourcing strategies to attract and retain key talent across the organization.
• Collaborate with Leadership and HR partners to facilitate a robust leadership development, succession planning, career planning, individual development planning, knowledge transfer plans and onboarding strategies.
• Lead annual workforce planning aligned to business strategy and goals that will set a proactive plan for addressing talent gaps, to include cross-training matrix.
• Resolve employee relations situations and coach managers to hold team members accountable and upgrade talent while respecting confidentiality.
• Participate in staff meetings and key stakeholder meetings, including KPI meetings, on a regular, ongoing basis; provide mentoring and coaching to management staff.
• Facilitate annual people processes to include compensation planning and performance management.
• Embrace appropriate change management and champion continuous improvement opportunities within the business.

 

Bachelor's Degree (Human Resources preferred)
HR Certification a plus
Experience in HR multi-national and/or matrix settings in a highly-technical manufacturing organization
Proven business partnering experience
