WHAT YOU'LL DO

Performs optical fabrication processes, including but not limited to coring, sawing, curve generating, plano generating, beveling, blocking, grinding, polishing, MRF operation, testing, cleaning, assembly, plus other related and similar duties.  Performs moderately complex set ups and operates optical fabrication equipment on assignments of medium to difficult under minimal direction.  Work from written and/or verbal instructions.

Maintains work area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.

Follows prescribed safety regulations

Understands and follows ISO procedures

Reads and interprets blueprints, and process routines

Performs other similar and related duties as assigned

  

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

High school diploma or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 5 years related experience in a precision optics fabrication facility

Must be able to read blueprints

Experience in manufacturing environment

Experience with troubleshooting of processes

  

WHAT'S NICE TO HAVE

  • Previous experience in optical fabrication company

Compensation

Salary Minimum:  $70,000
Salary Maximum:  $90,000
Incentive:  No
