Job Title:  Product Development Engineer

Qualifications & Skills:

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

A master’s degree in engineering may be advantageous.

Previous experience in product development.

Experience in Process Characterization

Experience on Product Validation protocols.

Knowledge on Scientific Molding preferred.

Experience on Medical Devices may be advantageous.

Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols.

Experience with 3D modeling software preferred.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Excellent math, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform market research to understand market requirements for new product development.

Identify the needs of the customer and integrate market research to determine the needs and goals of new products.

Conceptualizes new product ideas by using modeling software to design prototypes.

Fabricate prototypes for testing.

Test products throughout the design process to troubleshoot any potential problems.

Sampling different materials, manufacturing processes, design tolerances, and other factors to find the best ones that suit the new product brief.

Fine-tuning processes until they are ready for production.

Deliver product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes.

Analyze existing products to identify areas for improvement and update current documentation.

Develop quality control criteria and safety guidelines and ensure that all team members adhere to them.
