We are looking for a knowledgeable Purchasing Specialist who will manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are available when needed for production.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses while maintaining quality standards.
• Resolve issues related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and shipping delays.
• Analyze data and generate reports to track supplier metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ supply chain experience required. (Materials, logistics, purchasing)
• Any ERP experience required.
• MS Excel experience required.
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings preferred.
