Job Description: 

Ametek TPM is looking for a Business Unit IT Infrastructure Manager. The candidate will:
-    manage the day-to-day operations of the equipment, tickets, and department tasks
-    manage multiple projects
-    assist the team with overflow help desk tickets that are escalated
-    manage the patching and security process across several data centers that are in the TPM BU
The job requires a certain amount of architect and engineering understanding to drive the technical stack further by expanding the use of current systems and road mapping future technologies. Additionally, projects will be assigned based the candidate’s skill set, desire to learn new hardware/software, and business needs.
Requirements - technical:
•    VMware Experience (All datacenters are Hyper converged with vSAN, DRS, vRelize, Horizon)
•    Account provisioning/management/access issues experience in AD
•    Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
•    Horizon VDI (moving all users from physical workstations to virtual; including Nvidia GRID support)
•    Basic Linux skills (capable of navigating, install, and maintenance)
•    Peripherals support (e.g. conf room, smart TVs, Envoy device, scanners, printers)
•    PDQ or similar deployment tool
•    DB maintenance
•    Microsoft O365 trouble shooting
•    Veeam backup software
•    Strong end-user tutoring/problem solving and analytical skills.  Comfortable dealing with helping users fix their issues in most expedient manner, e.g. I.M., phone, remote desktop session, face to face
•    Strong analytical skills to assist in solving undocumented one-off issues
•    Strong documentation ability
•    At least 5 years’ experience in desktop/end user support
•    At least 7 years’ experience in server environment support
Requirements - leadership:
•    Ability to display a sense of urgency to prioritize and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
•    Management Experience
•    Able to negotiate contracts with vendors; manage ongoing and new relationships
•    Manage support team of 3 to 5 and daily operations
•    Establish, improve, and maintain robust support processes to ensure clarity of ticket flows, priority, ticket queue management, Key Performance Indicator tracking.
•    Grow and mature talent by leading by example, coaching, increasing bandwidth constantly

Highly Preferred:
•    ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Epicor are the products currently in use)
•    AWS Cloud environment 
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    Microsoft SQL

Desirable: 
•    Salesforce (Can include frontend and/or API knowledge) 
•    SOX knowledge
•    Advance MS SQL ability highly sought after
•    Report writing skills:  SSRS, Power BI, Excel
•    Technical certifications (A+, N+, Microsoft, VMware, CCT/CCNA, etc.)
Travel and Remote:
This role is mostly onsite and will occasionally require travelling to an alternate site to assist in projects (expected travel 20%.) Corporate will provide appropriate travel card to manage expenses. Remote days can be provided based on workflow or necessity.
