The European Distribution Manager's main role is to generate revenues on his/her assigned territory through the distribution network by monitoring the sales activities and managing actively his/her current and future distribution network.

 

You will:

  • Develop a strategic and tactical plan with resellers to deliver strong growth across Europe

  • Achieve or exceed sales target on the assigned territory mainly with channel sales

  • Review, investigate and develop direct and indirect sales in relevant growth countries.

  • Work closely with the Metrology and Optical Systems Divisions to develop sales strategies that deliver growth for all product lines

  • Manage the reseller network in assigned territory

  • Monitor resellers opportunities

  • Participation to trade shows, technical events, open-house, sales meetings and other sales events

  • Provide sales forecast and participate to forecast review meetings

  • Ensure continuous improvement of resellers technical skills on ZYGO solutions

 

The perfect match:

  • Be comfortable with travelling up to 50%

  • Degree in Engineering

  • Relevant experience in technology sales, direct sales and channel sales management

  • Metrology experience within precision engineering market and the understanding of technical drawings

  • Knowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools

  • Language: English, additional language is an asset

  • Results oriented and autonomous

  • Work from one of Ametek European Facilities, can be home-office based
