Precitech designs and manufactures the world’s most advanced ultra-precision machining solutions for freeform diamond turning, milling, and grinding which are used to produce optical lenses, mold inserts, mirrors, and precision mechanical components for defense, aerospace, consumer optics and other high-tech industries. Our machines produce rotationally symmetric, asymmetric, freeform, and sculpted geometries with form tolerances and surface finishes measured at the nanometer level.  

TMC combines state-of-the-art vibration cancellation technology with a commitment to manufacturing. Our products are manufactured in our world-class, 80,000 square foot, manufacturing facility and headquarters in Peabody, Massachusetts on Route 128, “America’s Technology Highway.” To manufacture most of our products we literally start with sheets of steel coming in our loading dock where they are laser cut, bent, welded, drilled, ground, sanded, polished, painted, assembled into final products and shipped to customers on all seven continents.

This position is an onsite position and can either be based in Peabody, MA or Keene NH locations.

 

You will lead a team of HR professionals to ensure the success of the organization overall by:

  • Partnering with the Division Vice President of Human Resources to drive the talent acquisition, diversity, talent management and development strategies, attracting and retaining high potential salaried and direct labor candidates.
    Utilizing AMETEK standard processes and tools, including recruitment tools and software as well as developing innovative and modern sourcing strategies to attract and retain key talent across the organization.
  • Executing AMETEK standard programs, ensure team is trained and proficient in program requirements, and AMETEK HR operational expectations. Willingness to roll-up sleeves when necessary to get things done.
  • Facilitating annual people processes to include compensation planning and performance management.
  • Collaborating with management team to drive improvement, implement cultural change, organization and talent development, workforce planning and a rewarding employee experience.
  • Building, with Leadership and HR team, a robust leadership development and succession plan, a career planning process, individual development plans, knowledge transfer plans and onboarding strategies.
  • Championing appropriate change management and continuous improvement opportunities within the business.

You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; MBA and/or HR certifications preferred.
  • Experience managing and leading an HR team, preferably in a publicly traded manufacturing company.
  • Proven experience as a senior HR leader and business partner who gets results
  • Experience in strategic planning, organization design and implementation
  • Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent acquisition and development, compliance, etc)
  • Ability to use metrics and analytics to make decisions
