Marketing Assistant – Co-op Internship

 

AMETEK/United Electronic Industries (UEI) is a well-established global manufacturer of computer-based measurement and control (I/O) products using leading edge technology to support aerospace, private space launch, and simulation customers.  We are growing and working here offers high visibility in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment.

 

We are looking to hire and mentor a co-op. student who may be interested in gaining experience as a Marketing Assistant.  This is a 6-month position starting in January 2024 through June 2024.

 

Our Marketing Assistant Intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting our Director of Marketing in the following area:

 

  • Research publications, events, tools and more that help target our customers.
  • Draft various types of content, proof-reading of marketing materials.
  • Data input, track/monitor UEI’s marketing activities.
  • Update marketing collateral including website pages, graphics, presentations, various documents.
  • Assist with lead generation activities.
  • Assist with coordinating/supporting domestic and international trade shows.
  • Social media assistance.

 

Previous exposure and training in some of the following areas preferred:

 

  • Some experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign (or like content creation products)
  • Some experience with HTML/CSS, WYSIWYG systems
  • Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Social media platforms

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Camtasia or like products.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets experience a plus (i.e. – Pivot Tables, Filtering, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Google Docs and Google Google Looker Studio a plus!

 

Hourly Rate: $23-27 per hour, depending on experience.
