Embedded Hardware Engineer – Co-op. Internship

We are looking to hire and mentor a co-op. student who may be interested in gaining experience as an Embedded Hardware EngineerThis is a 6-month position starting in January 2024 through June 2024.

 

The Embedded Hardware Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting our team of engineers in the following areas:

 

  • Write programs and applications to support our measurement and control hardware.
  • Write and test FPGA code.
  • Support our regression suite efforts to maintain quality deliverables.
  • Maintain code depository.
  • Test and help to debug programs and applications written by our other team members.

 

Previous exposure and training in some of the following areas preferred:

 

  • Python and C/C++ programming experience preferably programming electronic devices.
  • FPGA course completion.
  • Verilog (or VHDL).
  • Solid understanding of Analog to Digital, Digital to Analog and related circuitry.
  • Windows and Linux OS experience.
  • Experience in a test and measurement or DAQ related field.
  • Embedded / Firmware programming experience.
  • Real-time OS experience.
  • Test and instrumentation experience.

 

Hourly Rate: $26-34 per hour, depending on experience.
