Job Title: European Service and Sales Manager, Sterling

Job Description:
The European Service and Sales Manager will manage the service department to ensure that technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently while managing new and existing customer accounts within the region. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key customers, providing customer support, resolving service issues and identifying and developing sales opportunities. The person in this position will serve as the subject matter expert for Sterling Ultra Precision's ophthalmic equipment in Europe and is responsible for developing and executing sales & service strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers in Europe.
- Provide customers with technical support (remote and on site) for Sterling's ophthalmic equipment in Europe.
- Manage the service department to ensure that technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Identify and develop sales opportunities in the European ophthalmic market by deploying existing and creating new strategies.
- Provide training to customers on Sterling's ophthalmic equipment.
- Represent Sterling Ultra Precision at trade shows and other industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Experience managing a service team.
- Experience with medical instrumentation highly desirable, understanding of the European ophthalmic market preferred.
- Excellent communication (multilingual is beneficial) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
