Job Description: 

The Electronics Engineer will work in conjunction with mechanical, electronics, and applications engineering to create, develop, customize, validate and maintain mechanical and electromechanical designs incorporated into motor-driven dynamic fluid solutions.  Products must meet the needs of a demanding customer base who require industry-leading life, reliability, durability, and full-featured customization.


What you will do:

  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to develop customizable end products to meet the needs of customers
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
  • Plan and develop experimental test programs to validate performance meets customer requirements
  • Apply basic engineering principles and analysis to resolve technical problems; perform development, design, and analysis of new products; provide design validation testing for new products; interpret design results and data; confer with other engineering personnel as to the validity of their work product
  • Provide product, process, and firmware analysis and direct support to customers and manufacturing plants for products
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to formulate and test electronic designs
  • Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design processes
  • Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering/Technology (BSEE/BSET) or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuitry and design
  • Ability to develop and modify firmware as utilized in AMETEK products
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer specifications, scientific and technical journals, and agency specifications
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies
  • Ability to confidently and effectively present to and interact with customers and management
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Demonstrated strong PC skills and excellent working knowledge of engineering principles

  • Work is in a laboratory environment
  • Travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time
