Job Description: 

We are looking for a Design Engineer who can develop, design, build, test, and inspect a diverse array of products and systems.  This role will utilize CAD and other engineering software to prepare/update a variety of engineering documents, product designs, and more.

 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with various departments and serve as an integral part of the engineering design team
  • Plan, conceptualize, and create/update designs for products
  • Design, analyze, and optimize design and product components
  • Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using software
  • Recommend design modifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, contribute to the development of best practices
  • Develop and perform testing processes
  • Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstrations
  • Collaborate with various Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams

 

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience using CAD Software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
  • Experience with configuration management
  • Demonstrated technical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of innovation
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
