Job Title:  Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Associate

Position Summary

Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and other. Will also be responsible for delivering product to OSP houses locally.

How You Will Do It

• Have excellent attention to details to inspect packages for delivery and receiving.
• Box, wrap and pack product in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments
• Review documents before and after delivery to ensure the orders are correct and complete.
• Inspect loads for damage prior to picking up and alert appropriate individuals.
• Comply with applicable regulations when handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with safety requirements.
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
• Perform area housekeeping and organization activities to maintain a 5S compliant environment.
• Contribute to our team effort by being Team-Player and supporting the broader Logistics and Production Teams as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide input on ways to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Load, transport, and deliver items between locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Deliver and pick-up parts, material, tools, and assemblies.

What We Look For

• 3+ years of experience in a Logistics or Warehousing role
• Experience with operating forklifts and other material handling tools
• Good communication skills across multiple platforms
• Experience with interacting and providing customer service across multiple teams.
• Ability to work independently, but function as a team player.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and lift 50 pounds.
• Valid/Clean Class C CA Driver’s License
• Attention to EHS guidelines.
