Position Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for owning and executing all aspects of the production process to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of our products. You will lead a team of production supervisors and workers, driving productivity, quality, and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. Focuses on driving accountability through metrics and KPI’s.

 

How You Will Do It

  • Executing on production plans to meet customer demands, revenue forecasts and commitments.
  • Manage and optimize resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Metric Driven Management – Accountable via reports and data analysis.
  • Fosters environment of ownership and accountability.
  • Creates sustainable change in operations practices to improve the business
  • Partner with Engineering Teams to input quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of production supervisors by providing timely performance feedback and accountability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety among production staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and overall performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee development.

What We Look For  

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Hungry, Driven, Self-Motivated and takes initiative in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and quality control.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems (Oracle).
  • Lean Manufacturing.
  • Adaptable to Change

Compensation

Salary Minimum:  $120,000
Salary Maximum:  $140,000
Incentive:  No
