Position Description:
Job Statement
• Primarily responsible for customer service activities associated with modifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of the equipment with vacuum (ex. TEM Imaging & Spectroscopy)
• Represents Gatan / AMETEK to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
• Assures operational quality of system equipment.
• Coordinates actions with customers.
• Provides assistance to Installation and resolving problems.
• Perform installation of Gatan systems:
o Site inspections prior to installation
o Factory and field acceptance tests
o Training of users
• Provide ongoing support for the instrument as
o Preventive maintenance visits
o Technical support
o Rapid response to problems in the field
• Up to 60% travel (domestic & international)
• Develop and maintain positive relations between the customer and the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement of the quality and efficiency of the service department. Identify opportunities for product development or need for new products.
• Collect feedback from the users on the instrument operation and report to the HQ.

Skill and Attributes
• Mechanical and electronics assembly skills. Ability to work with complex, delicate components. Ability to read and interpreter engineering diagrams and to follow standard operating procedures. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and behavior. Strong interpersonal skills. High energy person with a positive attitude. Self-starter and finisher. Ability to work under pressure in changing environments
• Familiar with the following
o Vacuum systems: require understanding vacuum system works on SEM & TEM.

o electronics: basics electronics skills including familiarity with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, TDRs, Multimeters, etc.

o Electric : require understanding power distribution and ground noise.

o Computers: networking, administrative hardware and software tasks, word processing (technical document writing, spreadsheet, database entry, etc.)

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associates degree or higher in electronics or related field is preferred

• for Experienced employee, require minimum 3 years of experience working with complex electro- mechanical/High vacuum systems (e.g. SEM, TEM, semiconductor fab tools, etc.) .

• Interpersonal and good communication skill

• English - require communication via email, and understanding manual.

• 최대 60%의 여행(국내 및 해외)
• 고객과 조직 간의 긍정적인 관계를 개발하고 유지합니다.
• 서비스 부서의 품질 및 효율성 향상을 지속적으로 추진합니다. 제품 개발 기회 또는 신제품에 대한 필요성을 파악합니다.
• 기기 조작에 대한 사용자들의 피드백을 취합하여 메니저에게 보고한다.
• 기계 및 전자 조립 기술. 복잡하고 섬세한 구성요소로 작업할 수 있는 능력. 엔지니어링 다이어그램을 읽고 해석하며 표준 작동 절차를 따를 수 있습니다. (문제 해결 능력)

*숙지사항*
o 진공 시스템: SEM과 TEM의 진공 시스템 작동을 이해해야 합니다.
o 전자 장치: 오실로스코프, TDR, 멀티미터 등과 같은 진단 도구에 익숙해지는 것을 포함한 기본적인 전자 기술.
o 전기: 배전 및 접지 소음을 이해해야 합니다.
o 컴퓨터: 네트워킹, 관리 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 작업, 워드 프로세싱(기술 문서 작성, 스프레드시트, 데이터베이스 입력 등)

**자격요건 및 교육요건**
• 전자공학 및 물리학 전공자 선호

• 경력직 : 복잡한 전자 기계/고진공 시스템 (예: SEM, TEM, 반도체 팹 툴 등)에서 일한 경력이 최소 3년 이상임.  (3년이하의 경우는 신입직원)
• 영어 - 전자 메일을 통한 의사소통과 설명서 이해 필요.
