POSITION SUMMARY: As the Senior Manager of Employee Benefit Operations you will be responsible for ensuring process efficiency and data accuracy within the administration of our U.S. employee health and welfare benefit programs.  This includes events such as open enrollment for approximately 6,500 employees, and the integration of employees from acquired companies throughout the year.   Management responsibility of 2-3 individuals located in U.S. and India.



  • Recommend process improvements and/or automation where possible for operational efficiencies and best user experience.
  • Ensure HRIS and other technology tools are used effectively and contain accurate, appropriate data. 
  • Manage outsourced vendor relationships to ensure quality of service delivery in overall benefit administration.  Vendors include: ADP, Benefit Focus, Vacarro, Aetna, CVS, Delta, EyeMed, The Hartford and Health e(fx). 
  • Collaborate with payroll and HRIS teams to manage the information flow for annual open enrollment, the integration of acquisitions, organizational changes, and pay group modifications within the benefits operation.
  • Manage benefit enrollment and changes, participant communication, and billing processes, for all US health and welfare benefit programs.
  • Provide analysis, reporting, and census data as needed
  • Assist in the development and management of the HR budget and forecast for the benefits group
  • Hire, develop and manage ongoing performance benefits operation team (2-3 direct reports).



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in HR benefits and operations with large, complex organizational structure (minimum 3 years in supervisory role)
  • Superior technical proficiency with HR Information Systems such as ADP Enterprise, BenefitFocus)
  • Relevant professional certifications preferred [Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)]
