The Amptek production team is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Associate to support the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator in our Bedford, MA office. The Shipping/Receiving Associate will perform the following duties:


Job Functions:

  • Daily shipping and receiving of customer packages and shipments

  • Daily deliveries of customer inbound freight and packages to various locations throughout customer site.

  • Packaging and shipping of customer outbound freight or packages.

  • Working with end user community to coordinate shipments and deliveries

  • Follows well defined procedures as outlined. Take direction from Production Manager, and Director of Manufacturing and Director of Sales when necessary.

  • Analyzes/maintains/reconciles various customer/ shipping challenges.

  • Communicates with manager any customer issues or potential problems.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Performs duties related to RMA’s.

  • Captures monthly metrics as determined by Production Manager

  • Maintain Shipping and Receiving packing materials

  • Daily use of manual pallet jacks and lifters

  • Strong attention to detail in daily site Safety procedures

  • Flexible Schedule, willing to work Monday-Friday standard first shift work hours.

  • Can work with an ERP System and work with Quality Manager for various initiatives

  • Microsoft Office Proficient

  • Handles occasional 5S of work area



  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and preferably an Associate’s degree at minimum.



  • Three to Five years of progressive relevant experience preferred.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude; attention to detail; technical problem-solving skills; and ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to assemble / disassemble, operate and understand equipment per procedures.
