AMETEK Inc. is a leading global supplier of electronic instrumentation and electromechanical devices.
For our MOCON business unit, a leading supplier of process and laboratory systems for the packaging, pharmaceutical, and food industries, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive: Service Technician (m/f/d) working throughout Spanish territory and potentially European destinations.
Your job as a service professional (m/f/d) includes the following tasks:
• Installation and maintenance of MOCON instruments
• Interaction with end users to determine software and hardware needs in an effort to provide support in a timely manner
• Undertaking customer complaints in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources
• Cooperation with sales/service/application team to satisfy internal/external customer requirements
• Performing technical and application work to ensure functioning of all systems
• Proactive identification of problems and recommendation of solutions
• Remote support, troubleshooting and fault finding
• Training of customers
• Demonstration and creation of reports for prospect customers
Your skills are what counts:
• Completed training as an electrical engineering technician or studies in electrical engineering or related
• Experience in technical customer service
• Software affinity and confident handling of the standard MS Office programs, experience with the ERP system AX to your advantage
• Fluent Spanish and fluent English language skills, others can be a plus
• Diligence, proactivity, and high service orientation
• Reliable, result-oriented, and independent way of working
• High willingness to travel, including multiple days each week
• Valid class B driver's license
• Residence in the Barcelona area
