Responsibilities:

STRATEGIC PARTNERING

  • Work closely with leadership team in building HR strategy and execute actions in managing the talent which includes hiring, retention, development and building a strong succession pipeline.
  • Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy and acts as strategic advisor to the business leaders to drive people initiatives, engagement, change and transformation.
  • Reskilling and upskilling: identify training needs and support in driving the Learning and Development programs with business objective in partnership with Leadership team.
  • Strategic workforce planning: ensure the company’s workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future. Assess the current and future staffing needs of all Business Units and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to onboard the right talent. Provide realistic forecast of staffing needs and advise Business Units on India Labour and Market Practices.
  • Succession planning: select and develop key talent to ensure there are talents to fill in critical and leadership roles

 

COACHING AND CONSULTING LEADERSHIP ABOUT HR MATTERS

  • Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrolment, benchmarking activities.
  • Employee Engagement & Grievances - Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs etc.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues on a variety of areas that include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development and CSR.

 

BUILDING THE ORGANIZATION

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team in the hiring and selection process for the respective teams & function. Continually champions Employee Referral program to include proactive identification of internal talent matching and advancement. Partners with internal teams to contribute towards branding efforts.
  • Analyses trends and metrics in collaboration with HR peers to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Collaborates with the HR colleagues to run Org-wide initiatives and is KPI driven
  • Facilitates New Employee Orientation (NEO) program for new hires.
  • Remains current on trends and innovative techniques to compete in market and within industry.

 

Candidate Requirement:

  • A preferred candidate must have demonstrated the below Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements
  • Proven stakeholder management and business literacy skills
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to set high ethical & personal goals and work independently
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or business-related field
  • Min 12 + years of experience with at least 8 years of relevant experience in business partnering in product development organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organizational development, change management, and employee relations.
