The Application Engineer provides required assistance and prepares required documents, drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the manufacture of modified equipment.

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare drawings for use by Production to manufacture modified equipment.
  • Prepare modified BOMs for entry into the Production System.
  • Work closely with other departments (including, but not limited to: Production, Production Control, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Project Quotations, Manufacturing Engineering) to resolve issues related to Application Engineering.
  • Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
  • Input BOM changes into the Magnetrol Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
  • Prepare drawings for approval by the client.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to read specifications and data sheets to determine correct methodology to best meet customer needs.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of piping industry, rules, and regulations.
  • Read and interpret Technical Specifications. Advanced PC skills.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Ability to grasp interaction between complex mechanical systems (Mechanical Aptitude).
