Job Description: 

The Senior Project Manager organizes, manages, and plans complex projects for the organizations research, development, and product implementation effort.

 

 

  • Leading large cross-functional program teams for product definition, design, proof of concept, development, sourcing, qualification, and production launch.
  • Managing projects scope, schedules, product costs, and R&D investment budgets.
  • Leveraging platforming and reuse to reduce cost, project cycle time and complexity, increase trust and integrity and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Working with distributed, global project teams.
  • Managing and coordinating resource allocations and deployments.
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders, management, and customers.
  • Ensuring LMS NPI process is followed through all phases of product development.
  • Effective use of six sigma methods and PMO tools to improve products and processes.
  • Identify problems and significantly improve, change, or adapt existing methods and techniques drawing from personal experiences and feedback.
  • Apply mastery of a specific professional discipline or broader expertise in most or all areas within a function.

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology
  • 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience
  • 8+ years managing complex projects or multiple projects combined into a program with demonstrated success.
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Science
  • Experience leading globally distributed cross functional teams.
  • Experience in Agile product development processes
  • Detailed knowledge of NPI development process
  • PMP certification
  • Engineering/Technical resource management experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in IIoT and smart system architecture
  • 5+ years of strong software and system architecture experience
