As HR Business Partner, you’ll serve as a strategic HR consultant and primary point of contact for employees and managers as well as play a key role regarding HR policy and initiatives such as performance management, onboarding, and coaching for success, with the goal of aligning HR practices to business strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Successful HRBP will act as employee champion and change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement instilling a “can-do” mentality.
- Provide full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, preparing, and closing candidate offers and conducting orientation.
- Lead the employee onboarding and offboarding process.
- Provides proactive coaching, consultation and direction to management in areas of staffing, employee relations, policy administration, performance management, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Manages, provide guidance and support on employee relations issues; assess risk and determine appropriate course of action; conduct thorough and objective investigations as needed; escalate complex issues to HR Director.
- Creates, recommends and implements new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency
- Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation.
- Assist with designing presentations and facilitating training to client groups.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and HR compliance.
- Act as resource to employees when needed providing guidance on and interpreting company policy as well as assuring that employee perspectives are heard and considered
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Track and analyze metrics on employee actions, terminations, and voluntary attrition to recommend actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years experience
- Strong recruiting background for all levels of roles within an organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Project management skills
- Proven ability to develop effective business relationships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to influence others through consultation and coaching
- Successful and demonstrated HR experience with proven track record in compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
- Prior business partner experience with a geographically dispersed team
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration
- Proven ability to be self directed and motivated
